My Anxiety Story (Literally)

Some of you may wonder what I've been up to over the past few days; coupled with some long days at work and birthday planning (I'm eighteen today guys!) I've also been doing some thinking... and some writing. I've written a short self-help guide/book/autobiographical problem solver- I've not quite determined what it is yet- called 'Relief: A Guide to Anxiety' (sorry, I am seriously lacking in the creativity department), all about anxiety and how I overcame mine after three years. I won't go into much detail here really because it's all in the book.

Okay, so when I say short, I mean short. It's about thirty pages long, but here's the thing: I never delved into the realms of self-help books when I suffered from anxiety, but from what I gather by doing some research, they're quite highly priced and mainly full of things you can easily find by typing 'anxiety' into Google. But people will buy these books because they're desperate to find some sort of treatment- I get that, but half of those books are just so convoluted and could be summarised in a few sentences- so why waste your money?

I prefer to be more succinct and just get all of the relevant information in there without beating around the bush, hence why I've not included any of the common sense stuff; no vague stuff about anxiety because the chances are, if you're a sufferer, you'll know all about it. I've focused on my experience with anxiety and how I overcame it; I guess if I was pitching a business idea here, that's the USP- it's to the point. You could read it all quite easily in an evening and it could help you beat anxiety- there goes me being blunt again! It's completely free both to read and to download so you can read to your heart's content without worrying about upsetting your bank account. Okay, so one last time, the link to the book is here.

I've always wanted to do a bit of writing, particularly about this topic, not just to help everybody else but to remind myself of the change that I've been through in the past few years. I'd really appreciate any support with this, please spread the word to any anxious friends, let me know if you enjoy it and, as usual, if you've got any questions, please feel free to comment below.
